About Dr. Lauren

A young woman with long brown hair, tattoos on her arms, smiling and sitting indoors in a well-lit room.

A little about me, I love those rare quiet mornings (few and far between with a toddler and newborn!) on the porch, sipping coffee and reading. I enjoy learning new skills - my newest endeavor being crochet. I love diving into books, whether it's chiropractic philosophy, cute romances, or when I'm feeling adventurous, fantasy fiction. My family means everything to me and I treasure our time together!

But here's the most important part of my story - my chiropractic "why":

I was born via unplanned C-section, which set the stage for nervous system dysregulation throughout my life. Starting in kindergarten, I experienced debilitating panic attacks - which medical doctors dismissed as "just a phase."

Fast forward to adulthood: I had anxiety so severe I was missing work, couldn't drive alone at night, and was afraid to be by myself. After the medical system offered only pills and temporary fixes, chiropractic care changed everything.

I started consistent nervous system care with Dr. James Peterson, and my entire life transformed. I switched my path from physician assistant to chiropractor, and I've never looked back. No more anxiety. No more panic attacks. I could suddenly do things I thought were impossible.

My nervous system went from chaos to calm, and I discovered what it felt like to truly thrive.

I share this because if you're reading this, there's probably something in your body or life that doesn't feel quite right. Maybe you're exhausted despite doing "all the right things." Maybe you're stressed, not sleeping well, or feel like you're just surviving instead of thriving.

I want you to know there's more available for you. You don't have to accept feeling "fine" when your body is designed to feel amazing.

All my love,
Dr. L
